Ah Grasshopper, Secret to Oscar night is to sleep from 7pm - 0:00am and then you are wide awake like I am now.

As for the rude music, why don't they just have a sign built into the podium that only the speaker can see that lights up saying "Please get off, you have 5 seconRAB left, 4... 3... 2... 1... Thank you, your time is up!" That is a lot more professional way of doing it.

If they then go on too long, it is their fault that they crash the music.
