A: conflict in Europe between Britain and France.
B: British removal of the "Arcadian" French settlers from Nova Scotia.
C: competition between French and English colonials for land in the Ohio River valley.
D: the french attack on George Washington at Fort Necessity.

Those are horrible choices. It was much more. Actually, some true historians call it THE true first world war. Americans call it the French and Indian War, but other nations call the same war The Seven Years War, which was truly international and on a world-wide basis. France and England were competing for dominance and territoriality in India, North America, it involved parts of China/VietNam, Africa and Europe

For your purposes, you can eliminate D which is nonsense, B is not it, furthermore, it started outside of Europe, so A is not it, so vote for letter C. It started in Ohio where French and English both claimed the same land and battles started to flare up.
