I wouldn't pay attention to what he says if I were you- he doesn't quite have the informative facts to back up what he says. At the same time, it never hurts to do a little online research to get the necesary information you'll need. Always get the information, first, so you'll know about what's going on with the story at hand ahead of time.
 
There are a few programming plans in place for the 09-10 broadcast season of the CW so they at least don't have the full intention yet to kill it off by then.

I don't know, personally I think it'll either survive or just get rebranded again with new people at the helm.
