The Omen

Saw The Omen on T.V. last night, and read reports of odd things happening to people concerned with it.
This may sound stupid, but has anyone had odd things happen to them if they have copies of this movie?

i love all things horror but all this spooky goings on is utter P.R crap, next Derek Ocorah will be doing voice overs for trailers claiming that he can feel the darkness or crap to that effect.

There was a documentary about this not too long ago.

Apparently one of the producers had a car crash in Holland in the same style as the one in the movie, where a sheet of glass decapitated one of his assistants.

Not only that, but the crash took place just outside a town called 'Omen', and there was a signpost saying 666 right beside where the crash took place.

There were other weird occurences too, but that one is the most memorable.

Brilliant film. I've seen it about a dozen times and each time something new seems to emerge. The scene where David Warner gets decapitated was extremely shocking back then, on first viewing. Maybe now you can tell it's not real, but I was thinking about it for days when I first saw it. I remember seeing that documentary, shown on C4 not long before the 06/06/06 re-release, it's worth seeing if you enjoy weird stories. Don't miss the second film next week.

Oh no, there is no curse, but i was wondering that by owning a copy, someone had, had some strange things happen to them, like the people who made it.
Sorry if i alarmed you.

These are somethings that happened to those involved in The Omen:

Having changed its title from "The Antichrist" to "The Birthmark," the film seemed to fall victim to a sinister curse. Star Gregory Peck and screenwriter David Seltzer took separate planes to the UK...yet BOTH planes were struck by lightning. While producer Harvey Bernhard was in Rome, lightning just missed him. Rottweilers hired for the film attacked their trainers. A hotel at which director Richard Donner was staying got bombed by the IRA; he was also struck by a car. After Peck canceled another flight, to Israel, the plane he would have chartered crashed...killing all on board. On day one of the shoot, several principal members of the crew survived a head-on car crash. The jinx appeared to persist well into post-production... when special effects artist John RicharRABon was injured and his girlfriend beheaded in an accident on the set of A Bridge Too Far (1977).

please tell me that people in the forum are just passing on stories and dont believe in all this mumbo jumbo, there is no such thing, all stories are either a coincedence or unfortunate events but mostly just done for cheap P.R.
The Blair Witch Project did it a few years back , it is a proven way of cheap publicity. these stories pray on the imagination you had when you where a kid, like kevin's family did in Home Alone with the nice big guy shoveling snow.

bogus , bogus ,

really people come on the bible and the cock and bull about the devil and supernatural stuff , its great for movies and books but not for real life.
the bible , the koran and all other books of this where just an early day version of brothers grim or hans christian anderson and what not. really the truth lies in science which has proof and not oh i saw jesus when i split open a tomato and i preserved it and now mugs i mean people pay to see it . :)

just my opinion :)
