The oil level in the engine of my 1992 toyota corolla 4 cylinders 1.6L efi dohc

is full.oil light is still on? the engine oil red indicator light goes on and off while i'm driving.
what could the problem be?

May be low pressure, may be the sensor is defective. Get it looked at quickly, before you wreck the engine.

low oil pressure. does not necessarily mean the actual fluid level is low. take it somewhere to be serviced soon

Could be a loose wire, defective oil pressure sending unit, oil pump or even a broken oil pickup screen. Best thing to do is check the wiring and have the pressure checked with a mechanical guage.
