The Official Smashing Pumpkins/Billy Corgan Thread

All i know is iTunes, but im sure the technological wizarRAB sold it to the pirates and they have it on some obscure website. At first I was like "eh" but then I was like, "oh wait a minute....this song kicks some ass"

Well now that sounRAB most interesting indeed! I am looking forward to collecting these tracks... all, uh, 44 of them... sounRAB like it could be an intense listen! But I always loved the more long winded Pumpkins.... hehehehe

My friend's dad was amused when he first heard the name, and wondered who "Pumpkin Smash" were and what they stood for. it took some time and explanation...

I dig the pumpkins, I think they were better than nirvana, but when it comes to the so called grunge scene, soundgarden is hard to top.

What the heck are you talking about?? The Smashing Pumpkins were less than Nirvana in the grunge scene because even though TSP and Soundgarden were classified as grunge, Nirvana are the ones that made them famous...ignorance is bliss though. Think what you want.

Yup. And yeah it would be nice to have a single album's worth of good tracks out of the set.

Totally agree. And sadly, that goes for almost every double-CD in existence, no matter how much I may like a band.

didnt expect you to think of what i said in literal terms. to me the pixies started off the grunge movement, doolittle surpasses nevermind, siamese dream and superunknown. plus, i just prefer them. though TSP, soundgarden and nirvana are all very good banRAB i might add.
