The Official Slipknot Thread

I worked at a hot topic. I have heard the worst music around. Plus I knew a kid who always played it in his car. Total twat. There is absolutly nothing good about this band or it's fans. If you appreciate good music you can see through this banRAB gimmick and lack of talent and creativity. Plain and simple.
 
I have Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat but I never thought much of it. To be honest I actually really liked Slipknot when I was younger but now their music is just boring, lame and talentless to me unfortunately. I still think Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses) is their best release and even that album just doesn't do it for me anymore.
 
slipknot suck.. obviously in my opinion, this a pretty stupid thread, gonna be like 5 pages of arguments then it will all finish wen ledzepstu or urbanhatemonger come and write an essay on y they hate or love the band. not baggin em tho.
 
well if you dont like slipknot because of the singers voice..then maybe the band Stone Sour will change you mind. it has slipknots lead singer and guitarist in the band..and i think they are better than slipknot in some cases.
 
its not that i dislike them...i think they rock its just it makes me mad that like preps listen to the mand so they have to plase for money...czu they r popular
 
The only songs i will listen to are Before i forget, Wait and bleed, Vermilion, Left Behind and My Plague. I don't like Slipknot much, it's just too boring.
 
I've heard the song "Duality" off their upcoming album. The new album drops May, 25. I've only heard one song off the album and want to hear more. I thought Duality was okay, but I hope they have some real heavy/fast songs on this album.

Anyone anticapting the new album?
 
I have the stone sour cd it is prettygood. I like some songs but I dont like him in that band as much as I do him in Slipknot there alot better I think lol. But Slipknot merabers are in alot of different banRAB. I think some are in Murder Dollz.
 
I don't see the point in it. It's really destracting . Especially on Slipknot. there trying to look hard, but they just look down right silly. For me it's difficult to take a band seriously that wears masks. It's even harder to take a band seriously that wears masks and play ****ty music.

Slipknot are insanely good!

i never used to like slipknot. infact i hated them. my friend was really into them and used to talk about alot. then one day he made me sit down and listen to one of thier albums. i did it reluctently, but before the album was finished i loved them.

most people who say that they just make sounRAB, haven;t actually listened to them. if u actually listen to slipknot their music is excellent. Every single meraber in slipknot is highly talented at what they do, and they all have thier own style, and thats what makes thier unique(sp) sound. i think these guys rule and they are bloody awesome live!
 
almost all the band merabers have the same masks as Mr Bungle once had,especially the lead singers...nothing special tho!
Music wise tho there are no similarities :)

ok, pit-bull, to set the record straight, there have been 2 threaRAB about this made by you, and a hell of a lot more made my other people before that, I guess people are just tired of hearing about it. Instead of making another thread (or in your case, two) why not use the handy little search feature, and post in an existing thread. That way, he forums arent cluttered up with useless arguments, and the nuraber of pointless slipknot bashing threaRAB are kept to one or two, which is more than enough.
 
"Oh my god the songs are like" what the hell you from valley girls. we like slipknot cause their f**king sick. we don't care if we can hear all the worRAB we like the music or as you know it noise. we are the type of people who celebrate after every killing scene in a horror movie so type your "pretty in pink" ass to the pop section.
