The Official Pantera/Damageplan Thread

I personally think Pantera has great albums. But it in my opinion it would have to be between CFH or VDoP. I would go for CFH since the album kicks ass from start to finish. For the guy who said "Reinventing the Steel is the best" you obviously haven't heard there ealier stuff. Thats like saying St. Anger is Metallicas best work when its truely not. RIP Daryl Dimebag Abbott

Vulgar Display Of Exhorder RiRAB!

Pantera should have stuck to glam.

to get back ON topic. Dimebag Darrel will not be missed by me. His music and the music of all repetitive sh*t-metal guitarists is a waste of auditory existence.

Pantera had something going for them but Damageplan? Ughh I feel like vomiting just thinking about that disgusting misuse of musical instruments.

:soapbox: This whole bs has got me so pissed off my entire month is now completly ruined becuase of one psyco freak!!!!!!! I went to his memorial last night, it was so sad but at least he was honored pretty damn good. Texas loves you Dime!!!

I think this album is just absolutely incredibly brilliant. I love their raw, no-nonsense metal sound. I lost count of the nuraber of memorable riRAB. It's also loaded with interesting, often refreshingly intelligent song structures.

Pantera are one of those banRAB I never even thought to give a try until now. I'd like to see what else they've got to offer. For those who have been followers for a while, I wonder if somebody could suggest where's best to go from here, album-wise? Cheers.
