The Official Oasis Thread

I'd bet fairly big money they'll both go solo, and bigger money they'll be absolute cack. I doubt a Noel solo album would be the most exciting prospect and it's been said he's far more capable than Liam.

But money does not buy happiness as when you live opulantly you soon tire of it's inintial appeal.
I have known a few old guy's in the acting profession who have tens of millions and are so unhappy over having no love.
Because their houses are the same just more rooms and more toilets.
People need love for happiness and without love you struggle to be happy.
Even when stoned.
Favourite Oasis song according to Paul Weller is half the world away.

Yeah but I mean more lately.
Those acts came from times when music meant something to people who were poor and needy and trampled upon by their own country like our punks were here in the UK.
But rich US likes silly childish stuff with no substance.
Oh and the UK invented the electric guitar!!
Am I twisting your melons?

I always thought that Pantera had a crappy style but good musicians. Dimebag has some crap riRAB but some good ones too, and nice leadwork in general. It would have been interesting if they played something other than groove or hair metal.

I don't understand how you can say the US only cares about Sgt. Peppers and their early music there's a few problems with this.

1. You're speaking for a whole nation.
2. You don't even live in the nation you're speaking for.
3. You're not saying something that's just an opinion, something like that is an objective statement (though it's not even true.)
4. All I hear on the radio is stuff mostly from Abbey Road so...
5. It is nationalist garbage it wouldn't be if you didn't seem to be obsessed with making a constant point of the brits doing it first and americans being *insert negative things here.*
