The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

But, why bother? The categories are just stoopid. No one neeRAB this. There's jazz, country, soul, and rock. They are distinctively different. All these other marketing stategies are just that - marketing. Don't believe the hype. Form a line. Form a line. Categorize me please.

I do like the idea of the Pirate genre though. Kind of a cross between Jimmy Buffet and Ozzy.

Stop responding.

You can't argue with me, block me dammit, or i will get a mod and make you do it.

You know what it is?... You couldnt live with yourself if you couldnt see my posts, because you like to respond to them as a excuse to go off about how smart you are as an feeble attempt to impress everyone, that and the same crap that you always say over and over and over and over, and now you just want to say crap about me behind my back, instead of looking at this as a rational sollution... You're such rodent.

Block me.

I didn't say NIRVANA sucks.

Like KISS, they're mediocre musicians at best, but the most influential of their era. Again, musical proficiency has sqaut to do with influence.

Gene Simmons and Kurt Cobain are household names.

5 people may know the name of the greatest Jazz Guitarist of all time - Lenny Breau.

Those are understandable, but not exactly reasons for nirvana sucking seeing as they're both subjective.

So? I see nothing wrong with wanting to sound like banRAB you love.

This 1001 genres crap is well, ... crap.

When John Kay first wrote/sang the worRAB "heavy metal thunder" this genre thing was born. Soon followed acid rock, glam rock, country rock, and disco.

Now we got fuzzyemo-speedjazz-lovepunk-postsinatra-deathblues.

Give it up. It's just a guitar.

I think the people who investigated it probably have a slightly better idea about it than people who didn't, just by the very nature of them investigating it.
