They really had no choice to sign to a big label they saw their names and albums posted every where, music videos on T.V that's a recipe for destruction. Even when the banRAB where signed to big labels they didn't play big venues they wanted to stick to their roots.:hphones:

Anyway, I personally think that Nirvana sucks anus,
but, i believe that they were one of the forerunners in developing
the modern conception of "grunge".
although they used punk methodology to achieve that,
i would still classify them as grunge.
