The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

Just as a statement Meat Puppets were a lot better than Nirvana and they were around during that time and before I believe. And they were a hell of a lot better. And Nirvana didn't create much they just made the grunge scene more mainstream for a couple of years.

You guys are crazy arguing over a dead guy. Music is to subjective of a topic to argue about. No one can say any band is more talented than the next because they play better ''technically'' music is emotional, do you really think kurt thought he was a good guitar player? The genius in a song isn't the gutair riff, it's the songwriting . Thats what kurt did and did extremely well.
 
So, you don't have to say something about everything that a n00b does, and besides you might be able to defend yourself until someone does something with a shock factor as big as what Fenix did on monday.
 
sigh, yeah, this would have been an interesting post if it was something to chat about Nirvana/Kurt posted, but just to chat about him,,he's been dead too long to just bring up a discussion....
 
Yeah I find Bleach very sludgey too.

Whats wrong with depression and nonsensical lyrics? Far more effective and entertaining than lala "I don't know where I'm going with this song" Pearl Jam (post Ten).
