The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

Yeah, the last part of his note was in completely different handwriting, as if it could have been an older note with some extra worRAB added in to give it new context.

The handwriting has also been proven to be indentical to Courtneys handwriting, theres proof in the pudding.

Nirvana is one of my favorite banRAB. The Corabination of the bass and guitar in their earlier stuff(Blew, Love Buzz) was what drew me in but after listening to a lot of their stuff I appreciate their more raw songs (Incecticide album).

Personally I'm fine with Nirvana kiRAB as long as they have listened to more then the Nevermind album.

It's the pop sheen. I was just thinking about that today. I used to play Nevermind on headphones a lot when it came out and it's never really worked well for me any other way, although the vinyl 45 of Teen Spirit is a joy (especially the B-side).

But if only it could have been recorded like In Utero! What a sound! I'd also like to hear Radiohead recorded like In Utero. How about it guys - Albini, Greenwood, Yorke - why not?

Actually, Nevermind woulda sounded great recorded like Bleach, too. The songs and attitude are fine. I played part of Nevermind for my girlfriend the other day (she managed to somehow miss it the first time around!) and she was amazed a major label had let them get away with some of that racket.

I love Nirvana. They have inspired me in so many ways and have introduced me to tons of new music. I do think they are a tad overrated though, and people spend WAY too much time trying to figure out if Kurt killed himself or not, he's dead, he's not coming back, whether it was murder or suicide doesn't matter because there's only one person who knows that, and he ain't talking.

Anywho, Nirvana was awesome. :)

So because there is people better at something it means he isn't good at it? This is just more of your biased indie ****, I don't know why I bother arguing you with, your worse then a brick wall because you actually talk back.

I am not, and wasnt upset over such a amall thing. And I didnt realize how old the post was. maybe I should had payed closer attention to the date of the thread/post. Thanks for the info. & input on how long ago the statement had been made U.H. Peace, & Again, Thank You.

Anyone can make noise on any instrument, which Cobain didnt do (when he played rhythm anyway, i admit his solos can be random)... I just dont like it when you're suggesting that anyone who plays a certain instrument must not have much skill, it's insulting.

Also, it's pronounced as *Mellotron*

Well you started sounding like an indie fan, so of course I'm going to insult you, my mistake.

You still suck though for giving me that impression in the first place.
