The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

i tend not to. only time i really check out IPs are when banned people create new accounts or to check for multiple accounts. most deleted posts are just double posts.

Well in a way your right classic rock is a radio station. but i think it is a genre of music because on that radiostation Plays all the Classics from back when.

I'm sorry, it's just that when people start going on about fears and audio/political agendas in a thread that has basically been up to this point... "I think they're punk" or "I think they're grunge"... it just makes me wonder about their sobriety. Is all. I wasn't trying to be funny, seriously I thought you might have been inebriated when you made that post.

I mean I agree with GravitySlips that you were making a valid point it just seemed a sort of strange point to be making considering there had been almost no argument up to that point.

dude they are kinda simp;e though like somethin in the way is my fave but its the same thing over and over, and then negative creep, and pen cap chew

Wow.

I consider myself a true blue Nirvana fan. I was 24 when he died and was really devastated and baffled. I didn't listen to them for a couple of years, but slowly got back into them.

I actually think Nevermind is the worse album that they produced. Some good songs, but songs on Insesticide and In Utero are way better (in my opinion).

I occassionally post on an Nirvana forum and on an 'introduce yourself' thread I was quite dismayed to see @ 35 I was by far the oldest one out of the 40 or so that participated on the forum. There were 13 yo kiRAB. Couldn't believe it. But I honestly don't care who likes them and it's hard to deny that the music industry has commericialized them into oblivian. For me, it's about the passion behind Kurt's vocals/lyrics, Grohl's/Crover's/Channing's drumming, and Krist's great riRAB. Made a huge impact on my life and let's face it, Nirvana killed hair metal for good (thank the good Lord for that).

since i dont care for anything the other merabers have done after Nirvana, and even though i never really got into them, or saw the big deal about them, i wouldnt mind seeing what route kurt would of taken with his music, just out of curiosity. Im not saying it would be terrible, or great, but his music was changing towarRAB the end and it would of been cool to at least see where it was headed be it better or worst.

i love it and i wish they were still together and kurt was still alive
;[
i dont know if this thred would belong in this category or not..
