The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

Wow...lets see...Kurt was ONLY one of the biggest influences in the rock and roll world...how the hell could anyone not have at least heard that damn name. Well I absolutely love Kurt Cobain and I am a dedicated Nirvana fan. And I'm proud of that. Rock On!!!! :band:

If Kurt didn't want to be famous, why did he work so hard trying to achieve it?

Why would he phone up MTV and complain they weren't playing his videos enough, if he didnt like being in the spotlight?

If not for his suicide, would the mythic proportions Kurt has grown to even exist? would he be any more important than any other early 90's grunger such as Billy Corgan?

If Kurt hadn't killed himself at the hieght of his fame, and rather, drifted away and died like Layne Staley many years past all the hoopla, would anyone look at him as some kind of icon?

Whats that supposed to mean? Moses?

I think the only reason Nirvana are the legenRAB they are today, is because Cobain killed himself. He was the most arabitious musician who played grunge, if mother love bone had tried as hard as he did to hit the big time, they would have blown up and not Cobain. I never bashed Cobain's guitar playing. That certainly is the reason I don't like Nirvana. Nirvana is so overhyped. The only thing I can acredit them for, is inspiring people to listen to good music. They are like the gateway drug of music.

I compared to a mellowtron to tell Death Of Capitalism that it doesn't take talent to play an instrument, it takes talent to play an instrument well.

Hullo..right erm.. id say im gonna get an earfull after writing this but hey.. So over rated its unreal. The best thing Kurt EVER could have done was pull that trigger. He got out just in time. i think if they were still around they would be a load of bollocks to be honest. DONT get me wrong im not talking down on them.. they WERE good at what they did but it ended just in time. anyone agree? or durab question? haha

You didn't read the line after that comment did you lol.

And while it's easy and cool to have your own opinion and preference it's even easier to nail a person to the wall for poor reasoning.

That quote does not say that he believes Cobain killed himself. All it says is that he didn't think Cobain was suicidal. Thus, by itself that quote does not help your argument at all. Thus, your debating skills are terrible.

Is this clicking yet?
