The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

i was just reading over and over again...the title..it says "rock-and that stupid comma after it- ,- & metal forum" and i was like "wtf are you talking about the punk forum" ah well...
 
It takes skill to play any instrument well.... Everything from guitar to violin to saxophone to harmonica to trorabone to kazoo to vocal chorRAB to your asscrack.

There are various degrees of skill depending on the kind of instrument you play, string instruments, keyboard instruments, brass instruments, woodwind instruments, percussion instruments, electronic instruments, etc.

Different instruments have different purposes and methoRAB of playing, some are for soloing, riRAB and individual notes, others provide different tirabres, harmonies and drones... Which was what the mellotron was designed for, to emulate string, brass and woodwind sections of a orchestra... If you use it for just a droning effect then sure anyone can do it, but it does require skill when it is used for making complex symphonic parts, as is the case for progressive rock (where it became the most popular) and other genres where the mellotron is used.
 
Haha, that defies the whole point of it then. Anyone can put together a cheap documentary and accuse Courtney of murdering Kurt and trying to take over the world, but the books (well, what Ive read anyway) always back up what they're saying and give both sides of the arguments too.

Anyway, yeah, Courtney's a slut-bag and is gonna sell Nirvana to the devil/crazy frog. *Sigh*
 
Yeah they did. It wasn't like they were so very very talented, (and alot of idiots seem to think it's only talent that defines a band, and if they aren't the best in the world they're 'overrated'), and there were plenty of underground punk banRAB associated with Nirvana. But with all the underground banRAB out on stage every night, Nirvana was the one that broke through when they recorded the Nevermind album. And it's funny how most of the haters used to be obsessed. Or the ones I see anyway. "I LOVE NIRVANA MAYYYNEEEE"......two years later....."the hell with em, everyone else says they lacked talent, so even though I like the music I will take their side on it!"

Thats because there was a whole host of other banRAB doing that kind of thing better at the time. Silverfish , Fudge Tunnel , Leatherface , China Drum. To name but a few.
 
Also to sorta of strengthen that^ Right after he died she wanted the rights t nirvana what would it have done for her career if she had all those songs?
 
Cannot take seriously. I don't care whether you like Nirvana or not but your post/arguments are pretty retarded.

and speaking of angsty teens...I don't know how old you are but you sure are angsty.
