It's great how we can abuse mainstream to find the gems. . By the way, you posted a signature earlier that didn't include Buzz Osbourne or Frank Black in the top 5 forefathers of grunge.
Do you know of them or did you purposely ignore them. (This is by no means meant in a hostile way, I just don't see how two huge names for grunge and alternative were left out.)
You're not very original, it's already been thought of. But seriously, your hate for Nirvana is retarded. There's just no substance to it whatsoever. I don't love Nirvana like I used to, but I've always loved Kurt. I'd pull out some necrophiliac shit given half the chance. I'd make a Cobain-CunningStunt love paste whilst listening to 'Rape Me.'
he can read the posts, there is no way for him to see which user is posting from there, without the IP addresses which will be hacked by the men in black any minute now.
Dude you need a reality check. That picture is of Mother Love Bone, I think. If it is guess what they always dressed that way idiot. even when Andy was in a band called Malfunshun he still dressed that way. This pic proves nothing other than you know jack about the scene. :dj:
considering grunge has literally ceased to exist and all this art student type rock is emerging- i think it has changed, plus you had the whole brit-pop explosion, i think mainstream music nowadays is influenced more by that than anything else
I half-agree, it would be wrong to classify them as pure punk or pure grunge, they were a very diverse band. For example, (in my opinion) Heart-Shaped Box doesn't belong in the same genre as say Negative Creep.
