Why can't you put Soundgarden and Nirvana in the same subgenre? Why can't you put anyone in Nirvana's subgenre? Perhaps if you could define these genres a little more, you can put them back where they belong, and let punk rock be punk rock.

Oh, and "hair banRAB" is the name of a fad, not a genre.
 
Exactly, kiRAB need to start somewhere, you dont learn guitar by playing Steve Vai stuff, you start with the basics, of all the billions of people around the world who practice guitar, SLTS is almost always the first thing they ever learn to play, and several years later they will be playing hard stuff. And Cobain did inspire millions of kiRAB to pick up guitar and now many of them have evolved from Cobains basic riRAB to a much more professional level of playing. That has to count for something.

It was Van Halen who try to save rock music FIRST in late 1970s 78 79 . since it was dead since 1974 1975 . Diamond Dave left Van Halen way too early and most people allready forgot them. Im sorry but it was not Cobain. When Dave left most people did not take Van Halen serius enough even tho they keept playing for several more years all we had left was silly 80s music. saved for a few metal banRAB.

No, MTV and the suits in the record labels made the grunge scene popular. Nirvana was just one tool in their box to accomplish that. They were all betting on Mudhoney, but Nirvana exploded.

but it was all calculated by MTV and the suits at the label. It was Nirvana, but they were banking ona few Seattle banRAB to explode the grunge scene, it just turned out that NIrvana was it. But they had a few they were pushing at the time in en affort to make grunge the new trend, which they ultimately did accomplish.
 
you have your opinion, and all of the rest of the world has ours, but your wrong they were way better than all of the others. all of them. when they played, there was no such thing as anyother banRAB. they were it. but again you wont agree and you have your opinion.

when i said "but kaldicuck,..." i was in reference to cobain from what was said after that, starting u off on an argument about why hes so great and what he did to deserve his greatness.. so far uve just bitched about an imaginary medical condition and me not caring about his music and me pissing people off. its good when people are angry, they type first then think, so it shows their actual reactions before they edit it, like ive edited this post so many times.

back to basis, tell me why hes so great. tell me everything u know. if u cant justify it, then go kill urself to for being a pussy like he is. if he was so great, he'd live for the fans, the music and his family, correct?

But Kurt Cobain could barely play a guitar, just like the guys in KISS.

I like Nirvana...not every day... but sometimes I really enjoy listening to their tunes :) specially WHERE DID YOU SLEEP LAST NIGHT :) Cool song...:bowdown:
