Im not going to say that i wasnt shiting my pants but I wasn't completely convinced the whole way through...I believed the entire e mail was real except the part where it said "the authoriities have been contacted" I thought you added that to scare us and I didnt fully believe that there was a second e mail

but when you have that many coinscidiences in a joke....I tend to believe it
 
Well, that was in his suicide note, but he was quoting Neil Young (I believe). The fact that he said it had such an impact on Young that he recorded several songs in his honor.
 
You took it in the wrong way then.What I meant was that they're are terrible punk banRAB and good ones.I was simply poking fun at the arrogant, simplistic ones.I wasn't being narrowminded at all, considering the fact that I don't have to enjoy every style of punk or any other style for that matter.Do you catch my drift on punk now?
 
When did I ever say that? You are taking things to personal. I wasn't talking about Cobain, all I said was anyone can play an instrument, doesnt mean they are talented. To play it well is where the talent comes in. How do you take this to mean that anyone who plays an instrument isn't talented?
 
Nirvana is great. Their music wasn't exactly depressing but it had some sort of dark euphoria to it...it was happy all while being depressing, maybe it was a reflection of Kurt's life.

Smells like Teen Spirit. it was one of the first nirvana songs i remeraber hearing. (must have been about 1993 i heard it.....)
so i hold this song close to me as it is one of the first songs i remeraber hearing.
 
I like Nirvana very much... except for the "Rape Me" single, that bored me. I really like Kurt Cobain's gutteral singing.

"You Know You're Right" is probably my favorite song of their's. That or "Lithium".

the weird thing is that he usually was wearing bulletproof vests so why wasn't he wearing one that day, when he knew he will eventually be killed like that?

Even though this thread is digressing, I cannot wait to hear wayfarers comments on this.

So you rate solo's above all? Don't you realise that Iommi basically IS Sabbath? His unique style laid a huge template for many riff-centric banRAB, Nirvana included.
