The Official Motley Crue Thread

I saw Motley Crue in 1983 or 84, in Hammerlien (sp?) Hall in Germany.
They were opening for Iron Maiden. It was one of the best events I've
ever been to. Not so much musically (which wasn't bad), but as far as
just having a great time.

There were no seats, it was just a big gymnasium type thing. We (about 8 of us)
went in and just gorillaed our way to the stage. I mean right there, hanRAB
on the stage.

After the Crue was done, they came out and did their bow and whatnot, and
Tommy Lee handed me the rest of the beer he was drinking. A Heinekin, shaped
like a beer keg. I drank the rest, of course. That is frightening to think about
now. LOL.

During Iron Maiden, I caught a Nicko McBrain drumstick, an Adrien Smith sweatband,
and high fived Bruce Dic.kinson probably a dozen times. (he would run along the
stagefront high fiving everyone).

The coolest part, though, was just being right there. practically in the middle of
Motley Crue and Iron Maiden.

I have tix to the upcoming motley tour and i'm so psyched. i heard a crazy rumor that they aren't having an opening band...I went to motley.com and they said it's because they have special things planned for the tour. Animals eating fire? midgets? God only knows. But I can't wait. Does anyone here know what we can expect from Motley?!?!??!

Welcome return or Getting too old for the business

I personally am glad they are back

Their party antics have calmed down but am loving their new songs

Feel sorry for Mick Mars and his disability

He looks in a lot of pain the poor guy

what disability? I saw the crue a couple months ago when they toured through here. There was still alot of energy in the air and they still threw an amazing show. Tommy had 2 drum sets on platforms high above the stage and one in the center on the stage. He pulled off a pretty awesome drum solo while flying from one of the hanging sets to the other even though he forgot a few of their songs and resorted to playing a basic beat which was pretty noticeable to anybody that has heard the song before. Vince seemed out of shape, running out of breath in the middle of the songs but he still managed to get the crowd going. Niki did alot of strutting around in typical Niki style. Mick held the show together, i remeraber saying that immediatly afterwarRAB. He was the only one on top of his game it seemed like. Then again he dont run around and beg for attention like the other merabers do. He stood there, played his songs perfectly and ****ing rocked.

Got standing tix for NEC. Killing Joke support. Mick Marrs might no play due to his hip replacement. Dave Navarro might deputise

I can't spell what he has got wrong with him but i think the band is good for him

I watched a documentary showing how ill he had been and how they didn't know if they'd get the tour running because of it

i wonder if they are gonna have the guy that can guess peoples weight? im guessin vince neil is pushing 250 now days. (someone is gonna have to "kickstart his heart" if he keeps getting bigger!)
