JESUS, you guys suck....support your band!! ONE MF bad album and it liek everyone turned their back on them....metallica is doing what they love...making music...thats what theyve alwasy been about...if you were true fans...youd stick with ur band...through the tough times...

I find it hard to believe you've NEVER dissed a band before. You express your opinion on the topic, as does the other person, as do all of us, so quit crying, ya ****in hypocrite.

Sub-par production
No signature Hetfield 'growl' vocals

St. Anger:
Sub-par production
Very little 'growl' in the vocals
Thrashier than anything they had released in over 10 years
Generally mediocre lyrics

I honestly think St. Anger was a step in the right direction. It's much more like 'old Metallica' than Load or Reload.
 
Yeah, I hope Trujillo will be given a decent amount of creative license because he's a freaking awesome bassist. Either way, it can't be worse than St Anger.
 
ok for the record LARS DID NOT LEAVE METALLICA.....f***ing morons and no lars was more the assshole of the band than the backbone and McGovery?? who the hell is that??? the only bassists that have been apart of metallica were 1st- CLIFF BURTON 2- NEWSTED 3- ROB! retarRAB and yes i agree w/ some of you ppl metallica has changed but they are still an awsome band they haven't died out at all listen to the guitar riRAB and solos and if you rele listen to the MUSIC not just the vocals you'll see that metallica is still an awsome band that's nowhere near dying out....and if you think lars left go buy SOME KIND OF MONSTER and you'll see...he's still there ( f***ing retard ) actually know your info is real b4 u post it plz..... :usehead:

Why does everyone constantly compare the old and the new?
They sound nothing alike and if old metallica fans would get their heaRAB out of their asses and realize that the stuff isn' that bad maybe they'd like it.
