The Official Linkin Park

I think the reason they`re so hated is because it`s blatently obvious they`re just a boyband aimed at teenage metal fans.

I remeraber reading somewhere in a trade magazine a couple of years ago that the record company invested so much money in them on promotion & advertising that they needed to sell 12 million copies of their debut album just to break even. It only sold around 8 or 9 million and so they put out a cheaply made remix album just to try and recoup some of that money.

I`d say they`re the epitomy of a corporate pop band.
 
Sorry people I can not stand Linkin Park, not sure what people see in them, the fusion thing doesn't work for me, they look like they should be in school and it takes metal nowhere for me

BRAVO! I couldn't have said it better myself. Yeah the CD wasn't that great but at least LP took a chance to do something that THEY wanted to do instead of what the public wanted them to do. Good job! Don't listen to these hypocritical judgemental bastarRAB.

I disrespect anyone who uses the term "Linkin Park" without succeeding it with "sucks." They are an erabarrassment to real musicians everywhere.
 
Hybrid Theory = Good
All material after that = ??

Hybrid Theory was good, but it kinda ruins it when a band makes the CD all over again, re-mixed. Release new material, if you want to do remixes, throw it on a hidden track. As far as the Jay-Z stuff, I didn't listen much past HT, so I can't say...
 
ok so i originally though linkin park was cool like many others. then i realized i kinda got tired of the same sound or that sound in general. i was kinda excited because i heard they were working with rick rubin on their newest ablum. i read an article where he said they changed their completly changed their sound and its gonna be really good. then a month later the album drops and i hear the single on the radio (i know who even listens to the radio), and its the same ****. i almost thought it was a song off their old album. i havent heard the whole album, but i must say... i dont really want to.

I only own Meteora. Though I've heard Hybrid Theory dozens of times, Meteora was all around better. Maybe the new one will be better than the previous ones. Enjoyable to listen to every once in a while, but it's like alot of other banRAB I listen to......they come out with an album, and I'll be lazy and wait a year before I buy it.
