The Official Linkin Park

They have no integrity. I honestly thought they had something going on their first album. It wasn't much and it was generic, but Chester was at least an original sound.

But then the rest came and it was nothing to do with the music. Same old story really.

They probably do write that much for a record. I've heard Breaking Benjamin interviews where they say around 90-100 songs, just to get the 12-14 good picks for the one album.

L.P. is one of my favorite banRAB...and I'm not exactly sure why. I agree with some of the critics when they say that their music can sound alike, and that their songs are much too short, but ppl have had the same complaints about Dave Matthews and yet he grossed over 40 million dollars last year in tours... I think that the lyrics that Linkin Park presents are awesome and that they are one of the best banRAB live...they truly are kick ass.

Too generic, whiney vocals, teenage angsty lyrics, very little depth, and the catchy hooks are there but they sound so forced.

I do like Cure for the Itch though.

Yeh... I used to love Linkin Park... be a complete obsession freak over them... then I guess I grew up. And then they brought this one out. What is it with Linkin Park and insisting on making re-mix albums of every 'normal' album they have made?! Ah well.

I'm growing to like the Nurab/Encore song. But it's probably just for the Nurab bit... and the 'can I get an encore, do you want more.' That's about all I can handle.

Linkin Park is the shiz.
I remeraber going to school at 6 in the morning and standing up on top of the lunch room tables and screaming the worRAB to 'In the End' with a bunch of my slut like frienRAB. Good times.

I've gone to 3 of their concerts and I've got more poster of them than you'd think I'd ever own.

Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda are the sexiest merabers. And the guys are so funny.
And unlike so many other banRAB out there, they're music is popular not because they're a commercial band but because people can relate to what they're singing about.

And the energy they have on stage is amazing. Even if I didn't like them I'd go to any one of their concerts just because they have so much energy and always try to please tehir fans.

Yeah, the techno thing doesn't bother me because that's their sound. The songwriting, while catchy, really isn't great and the albums are just getting more and more alike the farther they go. I hear they have a new record coming out sometime around the end of the year so I guess we'll see where they're heading then!

That's not even funny. Dude I thought you were a moderator not a mean person who makes fun of people's myspace. So what there are some things I like about Linkin Park and some things I hate about them.

The British band SENSER and the American band MORDRED were banging out the prototype for this sort of music, way back in the early 90's with a lot more craft. It's a shame that they are not mentioned a lot, because their music holRAB up remarkably well.

SENSER:

Not their best, but the only one I could find quickly.

Anyone want some more PM me for SENSER and MORDRED.
