The Official Linkin Park

Hey,does anyone know where I can find/hear "piercing the skin" by Linkin Park? I read the text in the internet but I can't find a cd where theyreleased it...
Thx Joyce

Simple fact. This sort of thing was being done better years earlier and died a complete death when it came out. Mixing metal riRAB with Hip Hop beats and turntables was unheard of when these guys started.

I like both banRAB! They were trying to bring something new to the scene.

I like them and could care less what other people say about them. "Papercut" is my fave LP song. I hear they are a good live band. My friend saw them on off-fest with Slipknot, Disturbed, and Spineshank. He said seeing them live really got him into them.

Too commercial. They care too much about the money. They earn money with one particular kind of song and stick to that. I don't think that's good in a band. So I never bothered getting into them. Though sometimes it's hard getting around them. xD

I love LP. No matter what anyone says, I think that they have a style all their own. Over produced, stagnant, whatever the other thoughts were, I still think it's an original sound. And if they aren't anymore, I would think they started a new direction for music. Mixing in a DJ, rapping, vocals, plus the visuals of both their albums and concerts. I can see the opinion that a lot of their songs are the same, but if you like the sound I think that's a good thing in a way. It's also been said, and not in this thread which surprises me, they they are pretty commercialized, mainstream... sellout type of comments. I just think they have a sound that mass amount of people can get into... some smaller doses than others but it's a good sound. Plus I would gladly argue with someone over how commercialized the band is after hearing Chester sing live. When he sings it sound really emotional. Music is an outlet and not a pay check. And I don't think it matters who produces you... if you are using music as a venue for creativity... you're golden in my book.

^MCR's first album wasn't manufactured at all. Just sayin'.

I don't like them because, for pretty much all the reasons already said. Talented musicians? Compared to who? Blink 182?

I just hate them(period) end of story, no more about it I just hate them. I used to like them but now.....it is just becoming the next old and boring music that people will not be talking about until they become 80 than your kiRAB will want to listen to them than everyone will appreicate them again. I hate the physics of time and space, why can't we just hate something and hate for all eternity because it comes back eventually(which is what I hate). Enough said, end of story for me.
