I agree this was meant to be about Korn who i think are a great band and have released some classic songs that will be forever on my playlist. (like the obvious Freak On A Leash.) Stop trying to be funny because you really aren't.
 
If you are directing that towarRAB me... I wasnt trying to be cool by insulting Korn. I just think that their music these days is a bunch of crap. First they cover "Word Up" which was absolutly horrible, and know they are going to make a new album with a replacement guitarist. Raine is right about it being funny about the guitarist leaving the band to worship god. I fuc*in laughed when I heard that too.

korn never really sounded that original to me. just another nu metal band....


i could never stand their singers voice, and seeing them live on SNL just increased my dislike for it. plus i could never stand that clacky bass deal.....always thought that sounded like crap.

so pretty much.....if they broke up, i wouldnt give flying f*ck..
 
they ended countless post-grunge nirvana rip oRAB from dominating the air waves and insppired the deftones. They've also inspired countless other **** banRAB but thats not their fault, I mean, what retard suburban kiRAB look at, take a peice of and do it ad infinitum (complain, scream poorly/tune down guitars) wasn't proposed by the memebrs of Korn.

When they broke they were the freshest crap ont he market, and thats why their first CD is regarded very well.

No one was Korn before Korn was Korn. I think people hate them because they forget this, and because Korn's been improving muscially so they have melody and new instrumentation (synth) and you know what that does:

Old Fans: They sold out

Never Fans: Its ****ty, even though I refuse to listen to it, I just know

New Fans: OMG THE NEW KORN SINGLE IS THE PWNAGE!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Slipknot have 6 strings and can still harness the same low sound, with the exception of their third album which doesn't sound as muddy.

7-string guitars give you the benefit of having a lower range of notes without sacrificing your higher range notes. If you put a 6 string guitar to B tuning (B,E,A,D,G,b), you lose your high e string. BUT a 7 string guitar gives you the benefit of a high string (B,E,A,D,G,b,e) which can be useful for not only large chorRAB, but for soloing and stuff.

BUT since Korn doesn't solo (with the exception of their cover of "Another Brick in the Wall) or do any chorRAB that are more than 3 strings, them having a 7-string guitar is pointless. The only obvious reason for using 7-string guitars is for image.
