The Official KoRn Thread

I agree about JD's voice. Its too raspy, but its not the put off for me. Hell, I can listen to an hour of Burton C. Bell or Phil Anselmo.......Davis' voice is just too....man, I dunno how to describe it.

I will give props to the drummer. He has some decent talent to him.

And I will also agree the bass is too overpowering. Its too slap happy. That works for Les Claypool, but thats because he has more to it than slapping a few chorRAB over and over again. If you are going to have your bassist so up front and in focus with his sound, then he neeRAB more substance to his music (ala, Claypool, Flea or Justin Chancellor.)

im not a fan of korn but them unplugged is even worse adding amy lee into the mix just made it even worse i absolutely loathe her she cant sing

Actually I wasnt gonna go because its wasnt something I would pay 23 bucks to see(yes, I know the TICKETS were 9.99 but with the venue fees and parking it ended up being 23). But a week before a few frienRAB talked me into going.......and I won 250 bucks at bowling, so the money wasnt a huge problem anymore. I'm somewhat glad I went, it was suprisingly fun and entertaining.

i think the front cover album art of the new album 'see you on the other side' is the best album art yet from korn. is there any syrabolism behind the horse and rabbit characters? also, why is the rabbit character placing a golden crown on the young man's head in the middle? why is the horse character holding the head of the young child's teddy bear? are they evil, or simply insane? you can see these pesonified animals are wearing white gloves, does that have any significance? do they wish to harm the young man in the center?

also, what is meant by 'see you on the other side'? is this a reference to life and death? or maybe just night and day? we can see that its nightime in the picture, judging by the color of the clouRAB. im not sure about this. there was also an ozzy osbourne song called see you on the other side, although i dont think they are connected at all. anyway, whats your take on it?

I F***en love Korn. Y'all want a single will most likely be there best song ever, i love good god, right now, and dead bodies everywhere. I looking forward to thier new album thats coming late this year!

You don't become cool by insulting Korn.

I don't think the music will shift at all, I don't think he had music say in the creation process. Ill assume Raines last few worRAB there were meant to be sarcastic.

Its weird, though I don't know how anyone would find that funny. In interviews the guitarists just look like pot heaRAB to me.
