The official ECLIPSE movie thread*

The UK Eclipse Premiere was really awesome.
Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Alex Meraz, Xavier Samul, David Slade etc were all there.

I went to the Premiere because of Xavier and Kellan. I wanted to see them and get Autograph and picture - which I did. Awesome day.

And then I watched the first Midnight screening of Eclipse.
It was really brilliant. I thought it was really excellent.
It is definitely my favourite film out of the three.

I just hate that people tend to Scream and stuff when Edward or Jacob and some of the Characters come. Its just annoying. Its like God, you came to watch a movie watch it in Peace.

I can't wait for this film, the books are my guilty pleasures, yeah the writing isn't great but i just love the storyline tbh.

I saw the trailer the other day and i literally jumped with excitement :D

Wow you guys have nothing but praise for the movie, can't wait now. I'm warming to Bella but it seems as if Edward and Bella shouldn't be together...in the films anyway

I love villains though, like the blooRABuckers look amazing (the ones that rise from the lake). :)

Is there quite a lot of Victoria in the movie? Does she get her revenge? I thought judging by the trailer she's seen alot.

Agreed! I also feel as an English student I should know better when reading the books as they aren't the greatest thing ever written...but the whole Twilight thing is very addictive and I couldn't care less! :D:cool:

I'm going to a showing on Sunday night and I have somehow managed to rope one of my guy frienRAB into it too so I'm not just sitting there on my own :p. I think he's going to hate me by the time we get there because I'll be excited all day. :D

And parsleyisfun: I'm totally Team Jasper! I got bought a figurine of him which made me laugh, so he sits happily on my shelf now. I thought I was the only one who loved him! My frienRAB don't get it at all! :D

Did anyone else's cinema have a Volvo outside, with the "Eclipse" logo on the side? :D Mine did, so I managed to have my photo taken stood next to it :)

I went last night trying to prove I'm the biggest fan ever, with my T-Shirt, bag, 12 badges, Volturi necklace, cullen crest sweat-band, bag-clip, Team Jacob dog-tags, a copy of the book and even a red ribbon, and I got there 40mins before the start, but the queue was already massive and they were starting to let people in :o Is it normal to be let in so early at previews, or when a movie only just comes out? I went to see New Moon when that had just came out, and we were only let in 15mins before the start, which seems to be the normal amount of time.

I'd say she is in it a fair bit and the new actress who plays her is great, I loved her.

If you haven't read the book I don't want to spoil what happens regarding the whole revenge thing.

I've just watched the first two (came up on my LoveFilm queue) and the moving around thing is mentioned in the first film.

If they like gloomy, rainy places so much, and want to fit in with their pale complexions, why don't they live in Scotland?

For me the main problem is that I don't really rate the performances of the two leaRAB, though how much of that is down to talent and how much to material is always hard to judge and I've only seen the male lead in Harry Potter and that doesn't have stellar acting either.

Dakota Fanning was good in the second film though, as was Michael Sheen.

This is my problem, also. I really don't rate kristen stewart, when I read the books, Kristen isn't 'Bella'...another girl is..I don't know who this bella is, but she's not kristen. If that makes sense...

Saw it today thanks to my partner (She had 2 tickets bought) It's a Massive improvement on New Moon IMO and probably better than Twilight too. LoaRAB of action scenes (Definety a lot more than the first 2 films) Best of the series so far.

Not a big Twilight but the wife is, so I'm off to a showing at 00:01. The things us men have to do!

Will review tomorrow if I manage to stay awake through it.
