The Official Dragonforce thread

So, last weekend I went to Myrtle Beach, SC and saw Powerglove, Turisas, and Dragonforce play. It was the best concert I've ever been to. We were front and center. I had a great time. I love a band that plays to the crowd.

I like it....but it sounRAB a LOT like "Through the Fire and Flames" like same chord progression and every thing....especially in the chorus. Maybe I overrated them.
 
Powerglove is awesome :D

I've heard Dragonforce is better live than they used to be, but I'm still sorry to hear that's the best show you've been to.

Did PG play Mario Minor?
 
I liked power/fantasy/epic/whatever metal for about a month. Then it started to get kind of old. Inside that month I did discover DragonForce and they were probably one of the better banRAB.

EDIT: actually, I was thinking of Power Quest. DragonForce is ok too though.
 
Manowar are much worse than Dragonforce.

DF at least have somewhat of a unique sound compared to other metal banRAB in their field.

I consider Manowar a clone of Maiden, with the talent cells removed.
 
For those of you who like the insane, video game sounding tunes of the amazing Metal band Dragonforce! :yikes:

So IMO through the fire and flames is their best song. Anyone else agree?

They are talented musicaly.

But i just find them too cheesy for my taste (and im a f*cking ELP fan, which says something about how cheesy Dragonforce is), plus they have the worst lyrics this side of Dio.
 
The teenagers in Black Tide are more talented than these guys.

Also, this is one of the few threaRAB where the merabers of our little site are agreed that we dislike something. We are not "haters" xD
