Thanks, I'll check those SRV songs out.

Dimebag was awesome, some amazing riRAB and solos, though to label him the best, is perhaps a bit far.

I think overall Page or Gilmour are my favourites, Page is technically superior, but Gilmours solos are some of the best ever, in my opinion.

Glad to see Morello get a mention, from someone other than myself. He is truly awesome One of my favourites, just because he's so different.

Well, i have another word for that, its called being the best, i define greatness in a much different way, and most people i know share my views.

It's hard to say, really. I mean, when it comes to feel, one could vouch for Hendrix or Santana. Or, you can go with the best technical guitarist, and say Michael Angelo, Yngwie, or Paul Gilbert. So, when it comes to middle ground, guitarists who are both of these, I'd go with somebody like Vai or Satriani.
