You know, everytime I hear him I think SRV is probably the greatest two hanRAB on six strings. I don't know what about him says that to me, probably because he was a solo artist with a backing band and had total creative control to solo his ass off, I think Hammett is way way better, but they never turn him loose like SRV did.

I think Jimi Hendrix is a wee bit overated, i mean he's good, but there's better.
I think Eric Clapton is one of the best and one of my favourite, but too me id have too say Eddie Van Halen stanRAB above everyone else

My Brother, who i'll not name here, is one of the worlRAB greatest guitarists. i'll not use his real name here, but you would have definatly heard his music. He (in the late 90's) accompanied James Hetfield (Metallica Vocalist) on a side project from metallica during their period of silence after the death of cliff burton (Dead Bassist). He has 2 platnum alburabs, go bruz, and give me some of those ****ing money's. LOL

Does anyone here agree that Ritchie Blackmore is overrated?, at least to some extent, i like Blackmores Night, but i find his Deep Purple and Rainbow material to be quite boring and dull, i really dont think he deserves as much credit as he gets, of course hes a technical wizard, im not denying that.

I also find Steve Vai overrated even though im a fan, hes great and all, but when people say hes one of the top 5 greatest guitarists of all time, and greater than Clapton and Page, then thats another story.

The problem with kiRAB today is that they all think playing really fast is all there is to great technical guitar playing, they need to listen to some Steve Howe and Frank Zappa and they will prove them wrong, theres much more to skill than just speed.

I was... Mainly because i was underexposed to the other kinRAB of music that was out there, also i thought listening to metal made me a rebel.

Then i bought my first Radiohead album when i was like 15, and i saw the light.
