The odds of me becoming a pilot graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University?

I have heard that no one really stands a chance in the pilot industry when going up against military experience. I would like to know if that is different if I graduate from Embry Riddle (the highest rated flight school in the nation). What are my chances compared to someone that only went through a normal flight school and someone coming out of the USAF? Please, only reply if you have knowledge in this field. All replies are appreciated.
 
You have a chance in the industry, but you have to start very low, building up hours as flight instructor and co-pilot for small regional airlines flying props. Pay will be miserable for a long time.
