Yeah sometimes movie critics can be cruel, sometimes you just want to say "dont take it so seriously, enjoy the movie as it is, nothing is perfect"

even though the critics are killing it, I still wanna see it! I think sometimes all these critics just rush to judgement...I think they do not want to give actors, especially those like Jim Carrey a fair shake.

anyway, think the movie looks interesting, if I can make it thru this huge snow storm we are having, I am so gonna see it!

Just got back from watching it and the movie was GREAT! Much better then I thought it would be, it's tad predictable but still a great movie.

Yeah I agree, its more thriller then his other roles which Im really looking forward to. I cant wait to see his character go psycho from what I have seen in the trailer and my god, I love his fake tattoos he has on his body.

Even though he has done series roles (and I love most of them) this film and character has a different feel then what he's done in the past. I'm excited to see how he does in this movie :)

the number 23 seems to have an interesting plot&the poster looks creepy as hell. i'm excited to see this movie and especially to see if jim carrey can pull this off. i believe so, he's really indeed a great actor and he looks like he fits for the role.

This looks like its going to be awesome, and its nice to see Jim in another serious type role.

Yeah--not sure why people always have to mention that he is in a serious movie. He's done quite a few and has been great in them. He's a very versatile actor and I wish people would remember not just how he started his career but how he's actually evolved through the years.

Now as for the actual number 23---My sister and her friend from highschool had a huge connection to this number---so she's a bit upset they are using this number (it was a bad luck number by the way for her and her friend)..but it's not like she owns it! :)

Jim Carrey has done serious roles before, folks:

-The Truman Show

-The Majestic

-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

-Simon Birch

-Man on the Moon

He did Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and that movie was amazing.

I'm definately seeing this movie when it comes out.

Don't know about Jim Carrey doing a serious role, especially a scary one, but I'll give this film a try. ;)

Saw a preview to this and I almost flipped out. It looks effin' awesome! :thud:

i hate that they are making a scary movie about my fav number! it peeves me off...its a great number why do they have to tarnish it
