I think this is out in the UK on Monday.

It really is good (out here already) - its worth it even for the two short films already done by Tim Burton - walt Disney's Frankenweenie which is just great - and a animated one - Vincent.
 
Tim Burton didn't direct A Nightmare Before Christmas. He wrote the story (not the screenplay), created the characters, helped in the production design and produced it. It was directed by Henry Selick who also made Monkeybone and James and the Giant Peach.

He did however, direct Frankenweenie and Vincent.
 
This has been out for a while (both standard and special edition) so think it's just a re release for christmas. Is a good film, with a big cult following, a PS2 game of it is out next year.

It is a damn fine film!!!!
i remeber going to see it at the cinema when Vincet was also shown!! we funny and weird short made by the same people as Nightmare.
As others have siad its just a rerelease due to chirstmas coming up!! we ogt it when it was first released last year and would thorughly reccomend it!!!!!
