The News Thread #2

The Creative Arts Emmys were this past Saturday. Congratulations to Anne Hathaway for her win in Voice-Over Performance for her appearance in "Once Upon a Time in Springfield".

I'm not sure if I could post the link in here but there is that news of Marge appearing in a well known bunny magazine and there's that debate on whether it's creepy or otherwise. Has anyone heard of it?

I'm new to Fan Forum -- mostly because I think this is something worth sharing!

I got to interview Larry Doyle -- former Simpsons writer/producer credited to 88 episodes. He wrote "I Love You Beth Cooper" which they made into a movie, and his new book, "Go, Mutants" was just released and already picked up for a feature film.

Larry talked about the book, his time on the Simpsons, his favorite Simpsons line, and what his Christmas carRAB look like. You can listen to it here.

Let me know what you think! Thanks...

Matt Groening was on NPR a couple days ago, talking about the new mammoth episode guide as well as the upcoming TOH episode. You can hear the interview here: Matt on NPR.

He says his favorite TOH episode is the one where Homer sells his soul for a donut. I love that one too! Completely forgot about it when I was discussing my favorites last week.

^ Thanks for the heaRAB up. Now I'm excited for my issue to arrive! :D

I also hadn't heard about the Glee thing for some reason. That's great news!

Entertainment Weekly has a new issue out with top 100 characters (spread over the various formats- movies, tv, novels, plays, video games) of the last twenty years.

Guess which cartoon father was No. 1?

As he might say, it's not stupid Flanders! :D

I just meant that the Regis and Kelly bit was only about 5 seconRAB long. It would be cool to have more time for the TOH segments though. They should do a one-hour special!
