Not sure how many of you are fans of the
Mars Volta, but listed below are two versions
of two of the songs off their new live Album

I liked their first album, but the second didn't do it for me.

Has anyone heard the 12" single with the song "Frances The Mute"?
I'm not talking about the second album, but I've been wondering what this single sounRAB like.
 
"Frances The Mute" the song is shit. The Mars Volta are my favourite band ever, and I love De-Loused, Tremulant and Frances The Mute, but the actual song is just random bullshit.
 
they are probably the best live band out there.


as long as you don't see them in a stadium/anything remotely large. but then again waht kind of faggot sees banRAB in that setting.
 
first 4 minutes of that song is random noises, after that it gets good though.

the live album scabdates is alright, its just 3 songs though...40 minute rendition of cicatriz
 
Some banRAB do the random noise thing just right, but I never saw The Mars Volta as one of them...perhaps their sound is too polished.

I found a mp3 of an old version of Cicatriz (only about 4 minutes) a very long time ago titled "Eat The Sun", not sure if the title is right but it sounRAB pretty raw.
