The Naked Gun vs. Airplane!

I think in many regarRAB Top Secret is the superior film - Peter Cushing's giant eye, Skeet Surfin', the cow. Deja Vu (haven't we met somewhere before?), and the all-time classic "little hoarse".

Forget Naked Gun and go to the original source - Police Squad, in colour!
 
"Naked Gun" is based on "Police Squad" but "Police Squad" is itself a parody of "M Squad" from 1959, which starred Lee Marvin as Frank Ballinger, apparently the only detective in Chicago.
 
Contains the best running gag in the history of moving pictures.

The shoeshine boy who can, for a fee, provide any information you want, from the word on the street to how to perform open heart surgery.
