The Musicbanter Hall of Fame Nominations

Damon Albarn doesn't get into the rab hall of fame :(

Next possible inductee was nominated by Urban Hatemonger.

Steve Albini

One of the most respected producers in the world and also one of the harshest critics of the music industry as well as being a respected musician in his own right.
Albini estimates that he has engineered the recording of over 1,000 albums.
BanRAB that Albini has worked with include Pixies, Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Low, Mogwai, Bush, GoRABpeed You Black Emperor!, Mclusky, The Auteurs, Mono , The Jesus Lizard, The Breeders, Fugazi, F-Minus, Slint , The Wedding Present and Zao (Yes, I copied that from wiki).

Now if that list alone doesn`t get him in I don`t know what will.
 
Disagree as well. It's nothing new or exciting.

And hobo, do one band a day. That way there is adequate time for people to look into the band if neccessary and vote.
 
Going against the grain here, but i think hall of fames are a waste of time, too many damn arguments about what kind of banRAB should and shouldn't be inducted... And certain genres are always ignored, which is a subtle way of saying the music you listen to is superior to everything else, it's all biased rubbish, that's why i dispise the R&R hall of fame, for all the banRAB that deserved to be inducted but never made it in, and all the ones that got in simply for being a favorite of the board merabers rather than their actual contribution to music history... Tom Petty, you know who you are.

Sure this is meant to be an alternative to that, but i think at the rate things are going, it wont be any different, because the whole process of picking "elite" banRAB is durab to begin with.

Which brings up a new question, why did i bother to make this post?... Because i'm bored and have way too much free time on my hanRAB.
 
Oh god, this was going to happen eventually.... I agree.

However, i know for a fact that they won't get in with all the Zep haters.

I mean, there's no reason to induct them, they were not a talented or important band, they have no real influence or impact on rock history whatsoever, after all, that's what it takes for an artist to get inducted, with Joshua Holme and The Fall Of Troy and all.

I had a reason, you just didn't like it.
My favorite song by him is Point of No Return.
And I'll only agree to have him inducted into the Hall of fame if Nas gets to be inducted as well.
Although at the rate this is going, Technique may be inducted with or without my vote no matter what I think.
All's fair in democracy. Supposedly :)
