I'm watching this on BBC1 atm, and despite me seeing it quite a few times i dont tire of it. i think the first one is better than the 2nd and the scorpion king was crap. what do you all think~?
 
Well I think number 1 and 2 were very good. Really enjoyed them.

I've still too see The Scorpion King, not sure if I'll like it as much as its missing the characters I loved from the two Mummy films.
 
The Mummy is MUCH better than The Mummy Returns! But that's probably because I've watched it too many times so now it's got boring.

I was wondering yesterday though- how old is Alex in TMR? About eight, nine, maybe even ten? Well then how come Edie and Rick don't look a day older?!?!
 
i liked it....i think i even went to the cinema to see it (my memorys hazy) however i have given up watching films on bbc1 on a friday night as they are always split to fit the news in
 
the 2nd was good only really for the fact it explained the history of it more so. i read a while ago they were going to do a 4th one where the mummy comes back to get revenge on anuck su namun (forgive the spelling shes got a weird name lol). but i havent heard any more on this for a while now. anyone know anymore on this? i know if it does go on, itll probably be straight to video/dvd as with alot of films nowadays.
 
Well Brendan Fraser apparently said its being considered.

And I've heard that he unofficially announced it at a press conference last month for one of his movies.

Rachel Weisz had said she would not do another Mummy, but now she is actually saying if they make one she hopes they invite her back.

So although nothings confirmed its not impossible we'll see another movie.
 
Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz pretty much made the mummy films what they are, they work very well on screen together so if one of them's in it but not the other i doubt it would be as good. but i would watch it anyway.
 
the annoying kid would now be an annoying teenager then if there was a 4th mummy film lol! maybe a silly love interest will be made and he was destined to be with nefertifis niece or something lol
 
The Mummy was a really good film. The Mummy Returns was a good film but it had some really bad CGI at the end of the film!
There seem to be quite a few rumours about a third Mummy film as Brendon Fraser has said he would do it and Rachel Weisz said recently when asked about doing a third film "Oh yeah, absolutely! Why not. Let's get the family back together." So it looks like a third Mummy film could be a possibilty!
 
The 1st one was easily the best one, because there were some scary scenes. The 2nd one was OK, but I thought there was too much tongue-in cheek.
If they did The Mummy 3, I hope Jonathan comes back, but Im hoping Alex won't. Dear lord was he irritating or what! Terrible actor. I know he was only a kid, but still....
 
Not as bad as the little S**T from Starwars TPM :mad: arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh :eek:


Absolutely loved both the Mummy films & a third would be great.
