Is it just me or do the TV companies have these two movies on a 3 week loop? I mean, they're not bad films, but after the 212th showing they start to get a bit.....um.....boring !:mad:
 
I don't think I will be able to enjoy the new one without Rachel Weisz and set out of Egypt. But that's for another thread.

I love the original films - they're just great light fun :)
 
ITV have clearly bought the rights to play this forever and ever and ever and ever zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

They also seem to play The Grinch a lot....which really annoys me because it's a christmas film
 
Dont waste your time with the 3rd seriously its not like 1 and 2 and rachel weisz isnt in it and neither is the kid from mummy returns so it sucks bad bad bad bad. Mummy 1 and 2 brilliant.
 
Isn't the kid a lot older in this one anyway...

I'm looking forwarRAB to the third one, and the fourth one. Director is interested in a fourth one that will maybe be set in South America, Aztec type storyline, could be fun.
 
She's far too serious an actor now she's won an oscar.

Still it is true that the lesser ITV channels do seem to show them quite a lot. It's hardly surprising though, first they will have paid a not insubstantial amount of money for them so as long as people are watching they are going to get their monies worth out of them.

Second, it's hardly surprising that they are looking to cash in so to speak on the new film by showing them over and over - there'll be plenty of people who want a refresher of what happens.
