In a nutshell: M-I-L takes me to order a crib and dresser for our baby due in Sept. Husband and I love the crib, but after going back to the store and me showing my husband the dresser, he noticed it doesn't really match at all and I agree. (The day I was there it wasn't in same isle as as crib, so it was hard to tell). Anyway, husband and I picked up the crib after it got in, but told the clerk we weren't going to buy the dresser after all. So, we went to a different store and bought a matching dresser with our own money and will give his mom's money back to her for the dresser this weekend.
That day I shopped with M-I-L I told her how much we apprecitated her buying us this stuff, gave her a hug (which I never have in my life), and told her to pick any place she wanted to go for lunch and I would buy, which I did. Anyhoo, now she has an attitude because we got a different dresser and acts like we don't appreciate anything! What gives?! Are we wrong somehow?
