The Motel... a pretty messed up movie

I did hear of this film and I wanted to see it but I never got the chance. Thanks for letting us know about the DVD release date! Off to put it on my netflix list :)

Oh well - at least it's a legitimate film, even if the site's not fully up yet.
 
Anyone heard of this film The Motel? I just got to check it out at my internship at UMGD and I really liked it. It had a pretty limited theatrical release from what i understand, but it was quite the buzz film at Sundance last year, even winning a couple awards. It's all about this awkward 13 year old boy who lives in this crazy and shady motel that his mom runs. He meets the most random people and witnesses some pretty messed up stuff. It's pretty entertaining overall though! The dvd will be out Jan. 30th and there's a website up if you want to hear more about it - themotel-film.com. Check it out though, it's worth a watch.
