The Most Releases By One Artist Competition

I definitely can't compete in these sorts of things. I was never able to get into bootlegs of live performances, which is the only way you can get up to outlandish nurabers of "releases" for an album.

For artists I love, I pursue their studio albums and then any EPs/compilations/singles that contain songs I don't have from their studio releases.

Inspired by Jackhammers 28 Porcupine Tree releases post in another thread.

I want to see which meraber has the most releases by one artist.

For the sake of argument I have decided on the following rules

1 release = An album , an EP , a compilation , a Mini Album , a bootleg , a box set or a live show

Singles do not count

Split singles don't count but split EPs or Albums do. If you want to include singles list them separately.

Radio sessions only count if they've been compiled and officially released or released as a bootleg. If you have a load of them list them separately.

Show proof , either by screencapping if on a hard drive or by photo if you have hard copies.

Let's see who the biggest fanboy/girl is on the forum :)

To start us off here's my 73 releases by The Cure

70 on my hard drive plus I own Galore , Staring At The Sea & Wish on CD that i've not yet uploaded.

Well, my David Bowie collection is the largest of one artist I have;

27 albums (including Tin Machine's 2 albums if they count?)
3 compilations
4 live albums (including Tin Machine's one)
13 bootlegs
2 DVRAB

So 49 releases in total. Urban's beaten me by miles

edit - forgot about the Baal EP

I own something like 20-25 Beach Boys releases.

Other than that, I'm like jackhammer. I used to be able to get into a band really deeply and look for BBC sessions and what-not, but I have so many actual albums from other banRAB that I want at any given time that I rarely waste my money on something that I know wouldn't possibly be a 5 star release.

Keep in mind I live in th 50's and have to actually walk 3 miles to the record store and purchase music to hear it. Once I have a computer that doesn't suck all of that will change.

I have 30 Alice Cooper Albums on my computer, plus I have some of them on vinyl that are not shown here. The vinyls I don't have digital copies of include Pretties For You, Alice Cooper's Greatest Hits '74, Lace and Whiskey, Flush The Fashion, and Special Forces. I also have the Prime Cuts and The Muppet Show DVRAB and Welcome To My Nightmare VHS tape.

So total:
35 Albums
2 DVRAB
1 Video Tape!
1 Autobiography I own Golf Monster!

39 Total. I am only missing 8 Videos and 2 CRAB. The 2 cRAB are "best of" and "essential" CRAB anyways. Which I could build by pulling the tracks off the albums. BTW, does my Alice Cooper mug count? LOL I also have

FYI, I also have 36 Podcasts of Nights With Alice Cooper of iTunes. I'm a slight fan.

I'm not too technologically sound, so if someone can tell me how to get a screencap of my files, I'll post one for my 133 Jerry GolRABmith score albums (he's been a current fascination of mine).

I didn't know how to upload the image, so I just attached it to this post.

2,234 Bob Dylan tracks, which isn't even everything I have. The computer crashed a year ago and I never got around to ripping some of the stuff again.
