Really? I've only seen maybe one or two refrences to the actual ending. All the rest just parody "I see dead people" scene. Which isn't a spoiler or even a clue to the plot whatsoever.
Nah, it's really just Romeo & Juliet and Hamlet. Namely "Alas poor Yorrik" andthe balcony scene (What light from yonder window breaks?). That's really it. Once in a while, there's bigger parodies of Romeo & Juliet, but it's almost always just that scene. (I don't count any plot that just has a star crossed lovers plotline, since that was around lokng before the Bard)
And Macbeth I haven't seen referenced anywhere in animation at all. At best, I've seen references to the Macbeth theater curse, if that counts.
I'm also seconding Blackstar's nomination for "Christmas Carol". It's been parodied and refernced even more than Star Wars, I'm sure.
