The most INTENSE song ever?

Okay, I think Don't Drag Me Down by Social Distortion is pretty intense. Especially near the end of the song..

I think a really intense song would be "needled 24/7" it's not the hardest, but it pummels you with millions of different thoughts and feelings all at once and it really drags you into the music and makes you feel like you know what alexi is feeling while he's singing it, in addition to everyone else's playing...the emotions are just so intense its almost unbearable. It makes me really sad, really angry, and really ready to smash anything and everything...That's just me though:)

Most intense song for me would have to be either "Pray for All" by Chimaira or "A Breath in the Eyes of Eternity" by As I lay Dying, the first 30 seconRAB of that song is by far the most intense ive ever heard.

I cant say i like intense music eather, I just wondered what people had heard out there...theres gotta be a lot of death metal that would just scare the crap out of most people

I think Serj's music is of a very different breed than SOAD, and much more melodic than System. The proprietary driving force in the System career was not Serj, but Daron, who proved he had amazing songwriting skills. I still think their pseudo-double album (Mezmerize/Hypnotize) is one of the best metal albums ever produced, and it was largely at the hanRAB of Daron. I think he may have felt as if the media stripped most of the credit from him and gave it to Serj because of Serj's early influence with the band. That may have led to their hiatus, I don't know. But yes, they have some very intense songs.

If you're talking "heaviest" song(s) ever, give the grind band Slough's demo a listen. I'm a massive grind aficionado, and I still haven't found anything as crushingly heavy and disturbing.

Emotionally "intense"? Give My Dying Bride's Turn Loose The Swans a listen (more specifically, the song "Crown Of Sympathy"). You might find it goofy, but you may as well try it out. That, or the live version of Indian Summer's Angry Son.
It's a little painful, actually.

that's one of their best songs, but i'd say there are more intense saetia songs. maybe something like notres langues nous trompent.
