The Most DANGEROUS Man in the USA!!

I've had a Kindle for years and you won't regret it. I gave my 1st gen to my mom early this year and replaced it with a 3rd gen with 3G. My Kindle is one of my favorite purchases in years.

I have the wifi version, and there have been a handful of times since Deceraber where I've wished I had the 3g version. I usually keep a good nuraber of books I'd like to read on my kindle so it's usually not a big deal though.

Well I went to school with a guy that went on to the Cyber Terrorism program at the University of Tulsa.

When we last talked, he was about to start working for the Fed....couldn't tell me what department nor what he would be working on but he said he was graduating with 5 different Federal security certifications, a Top Secret clearance, a good 6 figure salary and he was extremely excited about the work he was going to get to do.

He was trying to get me into the program because I actually had better grades than him and could walk circles around him in many areas.

I just didn't want to work for the Fed.....just not my cup 'o tea.....but I did consider it.

He told me some of the shit he was learning in that school and it sounded awesome. Hacking, encryption, securing assets and code.....serious stuff.

I remeraber waking up at midnight to download the monthly update of all the BBS', using Fido.Net for early primitive e-mail, playing the great old games like LORD, BRE, SRE, etc.

You don't understand.....in the early 90s, this guy has hacking shit left and right and stayed away from the FeRAB for something like 3 years or more.

I used to say the same....until I got my kindle and now I get it.

You can hold up to 1500 books....or more.

You can shop for new books ANYWHERE.....3g access is paid for by Amazon and it's free for you and me.

You can d/l books immediately as long as you have a 3g connection and it takes less than a minute to have the book.

The batteries will last forever....like I've used mine 3 hours a night solid....not on and off again....solid reading for 3 hours a night and the batteries will last for up to 1 month before needing to be recharged. More if you don't use it as often.....less if you keep the wireless radios on.

The contrast on the page is awesome!! It's NOT LCD, it's digital ink and it looks like paper and ink.

There's also a built in dictionary. If you're reading and don't know a word.....simply move the cursor to the start of the word and let it sit there for a second. Then the definition will pop up....you can click a button and get a much more indepth definition including other verb tenses, origin, pronunciation and most times synonyms.

It's fucking awesome! I love my Kindle.
