The most annoying person in music?

The Dead Kennedys are my favorite band, and I feel this too. But I think this is more a product of him finding his section of this world, finding out how to make a living doing it, and doing what he enjoys for a job.

He appears to be earnest in his attempts to educate the punk kiRAB during his time in Dead Kennedys. His songs touched on subjects that were important for kiRAB to pay attention to, but often ignored, and for that he's at least awesome for his past contributions to the genre.

That's just a pot shot, not a fact. :nono:

It's on my list of books to read.

In my opinion, he is the worst thing to ever happen to Black Flag. They had so much promise early on, only to see it evaporate intheir face when they tapped Rollins as their new lead singer.

Oh. My. God.

How can you not like those songs? And her videos...don't even get me started. Some of the best ever.

THANK you.

Oh yeah, Mr. Durst, most annoying man in rock, or rap/rock, or whatever the **** it was he was attempting to "create" / make a mess of...

Chill, I was kidding guys. Hence the winky face...

I mean, in all seriousness here, if you are going to insult other people's taste in music, at least be able to take some fun criticism lightly. You guys are a tough crowd to relate too, and even more so to impress, so at least be a little more welcoming.

And to bring this back on topic from the petty flame war, I would say the Jonas Brothers are my biggest pet peeve. From the interviews of them, their music, and what I have read of them, they just seem like very arrogant, boring individuals, not to mention their music is...horrible. I think the only "boy band" i ever liked was Backstreet Boys...and that was just because they were the first I ever heard.

My vote is for Kenny Chesney. Or we could make it really interesting and put the whole lot of schmaltzy wannabe country boneheaRAB in a room and let them fight it out to the death.

I had the same attitude until I actually went and saw her live with my sister at an Australian talk show where she was also interviewed. She is a very talented musician, and quite an interesting and intelligent person. Pop music isn't really my thing but I think she is fantastic at what she does, and she's not your typical brainless pop star - she's actually very insightful and witty.

I miss the Kanye West of yesteryear, videoblogging about how it was vital that everyone voted Obama and saying he hoped John McCain lived to be a hundred years old.

If you like M.I.A., check out her album Arular. It's such a much better album than Kala, and the songs are way more world music-y. Really good stuff.

Yes it sure is. Can't stand anything they've done since '94 though. Except that song with Brian Eno and Pavarotti "Ms. Sarajevo". That's also a great song.
