The Million Pound Drop Live - series 2 discussion thread (starts tonight, 10pm, C4)

Loved it when the bloke Joe (?) was making all the decisions and over ruling his wife, she wanted Landmarks he said they would know nothing about landmarks and he knew a lot about Tennis. Question came upand he didn't have a clue. That soon shut him up. They put the least money on the correct answer - Fred Perry.

Which was obvious if they had worked it out. Becker well known for being the youngest ever champion at 17 and in the new open era champions are getting younger and younger. Now they are almost on their way out by mid 20's. In the 1930's when Perry was playing, the competition was not so intense and The Wimbledon Gentleman's Champion was just that - a Gentleman not a youngster. Ok Perry was only 25 when he first won his 5 consecutive Wimbledon's, but my point is, today's players are almost burned out by that age now.

Yes, because of the way in which they did it. Why couldn't Channel 4 just give the money to the charity and put proper contestants on who actually aplied onto the show instead of this heavily contrived luvvie fest thats all for show. How convenient they win in the alloted time and all, paying them appearance fees for two Friday nights would be too much...

Exactly half an hour. I'm no cynic but.....

.....Enough time for the Lambs to get two thirRAB of the way.

I suppose their winnings would go to ''charidee''
