The Military is 100% funded and controlled by the government?

So would you say that not only they do a fantastic job, but they keep their costs low as well?
I mean, look at what they pay their enlisted. Some are even on those special stamps to get food too! That must keep costs down. And they all have health insurance, so that keeps costs down too. Right?
oldbull, I'm a Navy Vet. The military is being SCREWED every day by the US government.
 
They do not produce a product - neither do the police or fire dept.

Exactly how would you expect the military to make a profit?
 
the military doesnt Produce any thing the consumer can buy ....

the military is for DEFENSE... as taking over GM is NOT...


see the diffrence????


if we had corporations in charge of the military .. we would be back in the feudal age.. where war lords ruled the masses..
