Anything that affects your health can affect fertility but I don't know the specifics in this instance.

Since you have recurrent UTIs, it's obvious that the doctor needs to follow up and that some changes need to be made.

How much water do you drink? Do you drink alcohol? Do you drink a lot of caffeine? Do you drink a lot of carbonated becearages?

If you know that you are having UTI problems, you need to make sure that you're drinking plenty of water and avoiding most other beverages.

Also you might want to think about stuff like underwear (cotton only) and hygeine (wipe from front to back). Little stuff like that can make a huge difference in staying healthy.

Trying to hold urine for too long can also aggravate UTI problems.

I hope that you'll be feeling better soon.

^ It definitely helps taking a list.
If you have a little checklist you can make sure you don't miss anything. Also maybe writing down how you feel or how certain things make you feel and how they affect you, and taking it with you, so that if you are struggling to explain you can either read from your notes or give it to the doctor.

I hope this helps

 I know exactly what that is like. I've had ME/CFIDS (along with a host of other ailments) for years and it's very hard to diagnose properly.

Is there any way we can help you describe your symptoms to make it easier for you to talk with your doctor? It really helps if you have a list that you can give to the doctor to read.

kaylee, if the cough persists and you still have symptoms, go back to the doctor!!

I work in research for one of the biggest medical centers in the usa, but have not gone to the doctor even though I have been getting dizzy spells the last month. I keep hoping they will just go away....

Just making sure you read mediTation and not mediCation, it's happened to me before . This is the website I usually recommend :).

It was good. But not worth a broken toe.

I went to the foot doctor and I don't need to wear a cast :yay: My toe is healing well. I go back on August 7th for a check up and x-ray.

Time to bring this thread back!

I've got my annual EKG next week, super exciting stuff. Not. And a new ENT doctor to figure out just what my deformity is in my throat!

And for anyone who has a cold, I recommend definitely going to the doctor. We found out Zoe had the flu (luckily shei s fine now!) after she stopped breathing, so the early symptoms are key to not getting the bigger ones.

And I'm sad to say I have finally switched to a big kid doctor, because I'm 21 now and pediatricians no longer want me :'(

Hope you're all feeling well!

^ Happens to me all the time.

I found out the other day that I have Astigmatism.

I went to the doctors last Friday and was put on medicine for Bronchitis. I took all of my medicine and I still have the cough. My mom's friend who is a nurse said I should go back to the doctors. Should I?

Has anyone ever experienced the frustration of knowing that something is wrong with you, but you're unable to explain it? Particularly to a doctor.

I feel as if my cold has gotten worse by each day. I also guess I should've taken some medicine :[ Cold's suck.
