The media and Michael Jackson?

Why does everybody say to people "Don't believe everything the media says about Michael Jackson" when these people ask questions about him.

I mean where else do you people expect others to get their information about him from?

You cant get mad at these people for asking questions about him since they hear it from tv,the internet and magazines.
 
he was the greatest musician of our time, and with out him or music today would be extremely different.

i also think he was very misunderstood, trying to flee from the image and memories of his father through plastic surgery.

i also think he was desperate to find a child hood. he created never land to obtain the childhood his father refused him.

he was also kind, and generous, by giving millions of dollars to help children all over the world. he looked out for others, and did all he could for children to make up for him lack there of.

over all he was a great guy, just a little messed up, confused and misunderstood

did he do what he was accused of? we will never know. but that doesn't even matter any more, all we can do is honor his memory and just let him rest in peace
